Mollys Dream

»Mollys Dream« handelt von dem großen Monolog von Molly Bloom am Ende von James Joyces "Ulysses" und ist ein Unikat-Buch für den Zürcher Sammler Leo Koenders. Es wurde 2009 hergestellt.

»Mollys Dream« interprets the last chapter of James Joyce's "Ulysses" and is a unique book for the collector Leo Koenders. It was made in 2009. The text of this long final chapter of »Ulysses«, a tremendous example of the stream of consciousness, reflects Molly Bloom's entire life with Leopold; the chapter appears in the folio work »Ulysses in Hamburg« (see this link) as »Mnemosyne« – the goddess of memory and the mother of the nine Muses. In »Mollys Dream«, the memory plays the trick of correllating Molly Bloom with images of my mother, whose old photographs intersperse the pages of this book. In this way, the piece became a memorial for her.
